If you have a few hours that you would like to give to our community, the opportunities are endless. The time commitment can be based upon your schedule and availability. Here are a few ways that you can help give back.
If you are a member of the National Honor Society, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Women’s League or a professional organization and need volunteer hours, we can help you meet your requirement.
EPIC After School Program:
Please consider spending time with students helping them learn more than curriculum every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the school year.
Volunteer Opportunities: Homework Help, Math Roundtables, Reading Buddies, Boardgames, Arts & Crafts, Purchase, Bring and Prepare Snacks
Sunday school and Bible studies - Join the conversation, lead a study or donate a monthly lunch.
Prepare and serve lunch to the congregation of The New Room Community Church
1st and 3rd Sundays
Provide sandwiches and chips
Serving 30 children’s choir and youth group members
2nd and 4th Sundays
Provide a healthy meal
Serving 70 congregation members
Help us shop with our program members for supplemental groceries every first, third and fourth Wednesday.
12:30-2:30 – Unload food and begin distribution
2:30-4:30 – Shop with program members
4:30-6:30 – Shop with program members and clean up
Donate clothes for all ages, home goods, etc. or help organize and maintain donations.
Please bring your clothing donation on hangers, and contact us to schedule a donation time.
